In 2006, the Dallas Regional Chamber and The NASDAQ Stock Market joined together to create the NASDAQ/Dallas Regional Chamber Index (NASDAQ Symbol DTEC), a regional technology index to help provide DFW with local and international visibility for innovation and accomplishments in the fields of high technology and life science.

On Friday, September 19, 2008, the NASDAQ/Dallas Regional Chamber Index (DTEC) celebrates its 3rd consecutive year presiding over the NASDAQ Stock Market's Closing Bell Ceremony in New York City.
